Smyth Composites have developed a unique way of displaying MESSAGES on anti-slip stair treads and flooring. Messages, symbols or logos can be incorporated into the anti-slip sheet so they become an integral part of it, i.e. not just painted on as is normal practice. This new process of embedding the message means it will not rub off so therefore the message will remain as long as the tread/flooring is in place, saving maintenance/replacement time and costs. A bespoke service is offered whereby the customer can choose the message, logo or symbol they wish to display and the colour and size they want it in. Ideal for highlighting Fire Escape routes, “Welcome” notices at the foot of gangways, advising the use of “Handrails” and many other applications. Please contact us for more details.

In answer to many requests over the years Smyth Composites have now developed a new “through colour / two colour” stair tread. Now, in the event of on-going wear and tear this tread will wear down to the same colour, as opposed to a contrasting bottom coat layer. As a result this new “Premium Tread” will look better and last much longer than current products available in the marketplace today. Treads can still be manufactured to any colour complete with a through colour contrasting nose.
